Welcome to our Hammer's Slammers pages.

Hammer's Slammers is the title of a 1979 collection of military science fiction short stories by author and vietnam veteran David Drake and focuses on the exploits of a futuristic armoured mercenary unit led by Colonel Alois Hammer.

Mayfair games produced a set of rules (available from Pireme publishing) titled "Hammer's Slammers handbook" and the cause has been championed by several miniature manufacturers - in the main GZG and Old Crow - at several scales. The rules are fast paced, easy to play and true to Drake's original works. A supplemental set of rules that expands the units and forces is also now available (Hammers Anvils: Handbook 2 the opponents).
